Problem: I need a invite to try the lates web 2.0 app. Solution A: Sign up at website and wait for who knows how long to get one. Solution B: Ask for one on InviteShare and with in 5 minutes I am in. What a great idea, people want in but no connection to an get an invite and other people have invites and no one to give them too. For me it offer more then just a place to get invites it offers a place to find out what I want to get invited too, a great resource for finding the next up and coming web app. Also came across two great Mac apps via tbeseda on twitter.

  1. InviteShare - Great place to give and recieve invites for private beta's. (Great idea!)
  2. 8apps - social networking with a productivity twist. Orchestrate, Brainstorm with Blueprint, and network with Handshake
  3. Natuba- Gives your friends one place to track your twitter, youtube and blog's RSS feed
  4. Dashalytics - Dashboard Widget for Google Analytics
  5. Journler - Desktop Journal App that is free. Has iLife integration, recored videos, snap photos, and exports to your iPod

Love how google does things, I don't know why, but it just works.

Google’s three rules by ZDNet's Robin Harris -- They roll out new applications for millions of users with surprising speed, especially compared to corporate IT. They build data centers with hundreds of thousands of servers - and millions of disk drives - and run it all on free software. Costly corporate kit, like RAID arrays and 15k FC drives, aren’t used.
