New PDF download server for docs.sun.com
If you happened to download pdf book from docs.sun.com these days, you may find you can't use FTP protocol as before. Yes, new server dlc.sun.com replaced original one docs-pdf.sun.com to server all pdf on docs.sun.com and no longer support FTP download.
All your bookmarks to docs-pdf.sun will automatically redirect to dlc.sun.

Thank you for this interesting information. I am curious why ftp access is no longer available. I found it quite convenient in a number of situations...

To improve performance for international customers, it would be nice if you use a CDN like Akamai for http://dlc.sun.com .
