On May 20 we finally presented the new OpenSolaris Indiana in the UTN University in Buenos Aires. More than 100 people joined us, where my fellow ambassador Juan Daniel Perez, and myself showed the new OpenSolaris

We have to thank Carlos Neetzel, Operating system proffesor from UTN for helping us every time we want to make a tech demo, and  Esteban de Bonis, and the guys from the Student's center of the UTN who helped us getting the magna classroom, and a coffee with croissants for all the audience!!!

Some friends of Infosertec blog, who write tech critics about different open source software, recorded our talk, and posted in their site this:

In the tech demo, we were able to talk a little about Solaris history, the new features in the opensource version like DTRACE, ZFS, ZONES, we described the different distributions and we talk about the installation process. At the end some lucky guys won some prices just for being part of the event, and a nice ending photo with all this new COMMUNITY

If you want to download the slices you can click here

Waht's more, in the opensolaris spanish community you will find more tutorials, presentations and really nice guides about opensolaris

Like every time we write something here, we invite you to share your opinion with all the community (english or spanish), and for those of you who were with us, we would like to THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!, and we will see you very soon in other tech talka, in other universities, others cities, all around Argentina

Here you have nice videos with YOUR OPINION about Open Source, and a little of our talk
