... David. I'm excited to be contributing to our B2B weblog! First, quick intro. I've been with Sun for almost two years- just writing that flashed many memories in my head. It seems like long two years, and at the same time short two years. Before Sun, I've been working about 12 years as independent consultant providing B2B solutions and traveling way too much.
Now the two years... Seems long, because when I first joined, my first baby girl, Maddi, was only one year old- and now she is three and a half. Long, because, now I also have another beautiful baby girl, Ally, who is 10 months old. So much has happened in my personal life.
At the same time, short, because for one thing I can't remember much :) The reason for that is because so much has happened in our group. We are moving very fast to build an enterprise-class B2B product suite. I'm happy to be a part of it.
I'm currently working to define functional and detailed specification for new product called "Mailbox Manager". Works pretty much like a traditional VAN (Value Added Network), but it's an application that you host in your environment, so that you don't pay the usage costs associated with it. There are many other benefits, but it's too much to get into it now.
I've also worked on some demo applications, some video editing to produce internal training videos, and HIPAA dashboard projects. I try to help out where ever I can, even some computer desktop support for our group :) I'm just a big, geek, and I love working on technical end of things.
I've been invited to blog here, and you'll hear things from me from a software engineer's point of view. Glad to be blogging here...
