Tuesday December 19, 2006 Rosalynn's first visit with Santa...
Back in April, Patrick and I adopted a border collie pup after we lost our boy, Lycos.com, to cancer. She has been such a joy to us and being primarily my pup as I've been training her and feeding her and letting her out to do her business at 5 am PT, she has really helped me make peace with losing Lycos as suddenly and as unexpectedly as we did.
A couple of weeks ago, the local humane society was having pictures taken of your pets with Santa as a fundraiser. I couldn't resist and had to take Miss Rosalynn for her first visit with Santa as this is her first Christmas.
While she looks like she is ready to bite either Santa for being a stranger or me, the mommy, for putting her through this, I am really glad that I got this picture of her...it was for a great cause and having lost two pets this year, each and every picture that I have of my dear furbabies is very special to me.
