How to Become a Zombie in 5 Easy Steps
This past weekend, my wife and I attended a "no kids" Halloween costume party (have not been to a costume party in about 15 years!) and I decided to go as a zombie/roadkill. As there was cash being awarded for several different costume catagories, including scariest, I thought of the most disgusting thing I could turn myself into and decided to win that cash!
I will show you how to turn yourself into a zombie in 5 easy steps:
Step 1: Get yourself some movie makeup.

Liquid latex makes great skin peels and scars. Getting yourself some powdered latex will let you make raised scars or rotting flesh. Makeup kits for charring, blood, etc. will also be needed. Lastly, stiple sponges and 2 brushes will be needed.
Step 2: Mix and apply first layer.

After mixing the powdered latex with 3 tablespoons of HOTwater, you apply using a popsicle stick. As the latex starts to harden, you can add texture by sliding it around. Notice me practicing huge "Zombie Eyes". (It kind of looks like a large animal sneezed on me, eh?)
Step 3: Apply liquid latex sealer.

Latex sealer is colored and allows you to get the latex to match your skin color. It also helps to keep the latex moist and feeling like flesh. Cool!
Step4: Start applying makeup.

Using yellow, black, purple and red, start filling in pits and gouges with the makeup. A good base of yellow adds Zombie flesh color. Notice the skin around the neck with the latex on it. Bleck!
Step 5: Add final scratches and makeup.

Add scratches with stiple pad, fill in with fake blood (really thick stuff) and you are good to go! Add Zombie clothing, blood capsules for your mouth and off to the party! Great fun to let people a the party pull on the skin and have it snap back onto the face. Great fun and really freaks people out. And, I won the $50
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Wicked looking Chris! The question I have is, did you win more then it cost to make that? Did you also do anything for your eyes? Should have gotten a picture of the whole thing!
