I just returned from Stanford University where I sat on a panel at the AlwaysOn conference. The title of the panel was "How Real is the Virtual Web?" Click on the photo below to see the replay of the session.

Moderating the panel was VR pioneer Jaron Lanier and the panelists included myself, Irving Wladawsky-Berger, former VP at IBM, Philip Rosedale, CEO of Linden Lab and Craig Sherman, CEO of Gaia Online.

The exchange was REALLY interesting and I had a great time participating. The discussions and exchanges with conference attendees after the session was fascinating as well. The AlwaysOn conference was terrific and I would definitely recommend this conference to anyone focusing on new media and web services. Let me know what you think of the session!
