lol - no, I don't think you're the only one, but you're definitely in a minority.
Think of the upside, though: yesterday evening at 8:10, we went to the local take-away (the one which is also a sit-down restaurant, and therefore doesn't have a TV nailed to the ceiling); I have never had such prompt and eager service. And there was a small but hardy band of others, there for the same match-avoiding reasons and clearly having a very nice, peaceful evening out.
I used to skive off footie at school, and I see no reason to change that sound habit now. ;^)

I'm sick of it being in the papers, on TV, on the radio, sick of seeing morons with their stupid flags (I even saw a car with a white bonnet with red cross!).
I can't wait for them to get knocked out and some normality resume.
Why does everything have to be rescheduled for the World Cup? The British GP date and start time, and also the Le Mans 24 hour had it's traditional start time changed.
I think it is time that the media stopped calling it 'The Beautiful Game' - Why is it 'beautiful??'
I hated football at school as well, (actually all sports!).
Worht while noting that the pub near to GMP (Crown and Cushion) proudly display that they are a 'Football Free Zone'!!!
