New: OpenOffice.org 3.0 Beta 2 Release Candidate 1 build BEB300_m2 available

OpenOffice.org Beta 2 Release Candidate 1 build BEB300_m2 has been uploaded to the mirror network.
The version will install as OpenOffice.org 3.0.

As I expect another build I have uploaded the install sets for en-US only and added language packs to the extended mirrors.

Attention: unfortunately the Bouncer links linked from the download page do not work (yet).

If you find severe issues within this build please file them to OpenOffice.org's bug tracking system IssueTracker and notify the OpenOffice.org releases mailing list.

I am not familiar with seeing RC's of Betas.

Does this mean that there may be several RC's to finalize Beta 2 for 3.0?

At the time I uploaded the files I already knew about another build. On the other hand I wanted to make this build available. As developer snapshot builds do not install as OpenOffice.org but as OOo-Dev I decided to upload en-US installation sets + language packs and call it Beta RC.

thanks for the clarification.

Can you give us information on when the final Beta2 will be available?

Would also be great if http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OOoRelease30#OOo_3.0_Beta2 could be updated accordingly.
