OpenOffice with OpenJDK
Kurt Zenker

OpenJDK is the open source variant of JDK. With the Child Workspace openjdk6b the adaptation for OpenJDK came into the DEV300 codeline. So builds can also be done with OpenJDK now. I checked the build on Windows, Linux 32-bit, Linux 64-bit, Solaris Sparc and Solaris Intel. So feel free to use it.

About me:

Because this is my first blog entry here at GullFOSS, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Kurt Zenker, I'm working for Sun Microsystems / StarDivision since 1997 in different areas. For more then 8 years I'm working as release engineer. I still know the time when the most of StarOffice became open source and it was great.

My OpenOffice.org username is kz and on the #OpenOffice.org IRC channel on irc.freenode.net my nickname is smoketester. This nick results, because one of my projects is the smoketest.
