Snow Talk

I'm Fresh Snow.  My parents warn me of the dangers of lying in the Sun, but I don't listen.  If I melt, I melt.  We all melt eventually, and at least I go out happy.  The other flakes might be afraid of the Sun and it's power, but I say, "Let it Shine!"

I was just lying here looking at the sparkling beauty around me.  I don't have to worry about getting trodden on, shovelled, or peed on by that dog.  The Snow People are coming out in full force.  Some of them believe in Frosty, hoping some day some kid's gonna place a magical hat on them and allow them to speak.  I'm sorry, but I think that Frosty story is a pile of slush.  I'm the only talking snow around here!   Although, I admit, seeing those snowmen pop up does make me wish someone would make me into a sexy, snow-girl!  But, now, I'll probably just stay beautiful, virgin snow until I melt, just the way my parents want, never getting to experience being made into even a snowball.

I guess I'm supposed to tell you what I think about Sun.  Well, Snow, in general, is not crazy about that sun in the sky that melts us.  On the other hand, who wants to stick around and get all dirty?  I don't mean to be judgemental, but there is a lot of Dirty Snow out there that lives on the street...the dregs of the Snow Society.  Although it doesn't happen often, sometimes Snow can be so bad that it's dangerous and it's better for people to stay inside. Sun (the company) encourages their employees to work from home when we have scary snow out there.  The last thing Snow needs is bad publicity about the accidents or traffic jams it's causing.

Well, it looks like my short life is coming to an end for now.  Hopefully, I'll be back for a Christmas.  Everyone loves me then!  C-ya!
