Solaris in their OS class, most of them happily said yes. They need
more documents on Sun Studio/DTrace/MDB to integrate them into the
Lab courses.
After quick screening of the survey forms, below
are the highlights:
1. 20 professors from 8
universities attended the training
2. 10 professors are planning
to integrate Solaris into their OS/ Unix Programming courses.
(50%)
3. professors from 6 universities are going to integrate
Solaris into their curriculum. (85.7%)
We are currently
working on the survey statistics, and will share with you when the
results are available.
