Access Manager 7: New Patches (-06 Level)

Sun Java System Access Manager 7 2005Q4 has new patches (-06 level) for all current supported platforms except HP-UX. Here are the patch numbers:

These patches are available on http://sunsolve.sun.com.

For this patch, new features have been introduced and a number of problems have been fixed, as listed in the README file included with the patch. For a description of the patch 6 features and issues, see the Access Manager 7 2005Q4 Release Notes as follows: http://docs.sun.com/doc/819-2134

So now you can celebrate, or you can completely ignore this breaking news. Just do whatever comes naturally.

My pleasure!

The Access Manager 7.1 release notes http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-4683/gfurn?a=view make reference to patch 1 but the documentation references this 2005Q1 patch. Where is AM 7.1 patch 1?

Thanks!

Aaron:

Good point!

As I looked into this, it came to my attention that the Access Manager 7.1 release notes were published ahead of schedule. While being ahead of schedule is often good, in this case, it's not so good.

Access Manager 7.1 patch 1 is not available and won't be for about a month. The release notes are being adjusted accordingly.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention . Sorry for the inconvenience.
