The technical note listed on this page is kind of an anomaly since it isn't in the Policy Agent document collection. The main advantage of this web page is that the documentation and downloads are all visible and available from one page.

About Policy Agent 2.2 Guides

These guides are all available on docs.sun.com (http://docs.sun.com/). Specifically, all the documents, except the technical note, are available in the Policy Agent 2.2 collection: http://docs.sun.com/coll/1322.1.

Specific Policy Agent 2.2 Guides
These are the individual agent guides. Therefore, each guide covers a specific agent. Notice that each of these book titles is split into two parts. Every one of these guides starts with the words Sun Java System Access Manager Policy Agent 2.2 Guide for and ends with the name of the deployment container, which is listed in the table separately.

Therefore, an example of a complete book title is as follows:
Sun Java System Access Manager Policy Agent 2.2 Guide for Sun Java System Application Server 8.1
Technical Note
This is a technical note that requires configuration of both Access Manager software and Policy Agent software.

About Labels Used in the Table

Part No.: If you keep hard copies of any of the policy agent guides, the Information that follows can help you ensure that you have the most recent version of a guide.

The part number provides the information about the version of the doc, specifically the last two digits, such as 10, 11, 12.

Guides listed on this page (excluding beta docs if any are currently listed, which use 05) start at 10. The Release Notes and User's Guide are updated often, so the last two digits are relatively high.

For example purposes, let's say you have a version of a guide that ends with the number 12 while that same guide is listed on this page with 13, then you do not have the most current version of that guide.
