Shell Scripts on BigAdmin

Earlier today, I found myself wandering around the BigAdmin website again.   While browsing, I soon found myself reading shell scripts.

One section, BigAdmin Scripts, invites contributors around the globe to submit their own shell scripts for others to browse, pull, adopt, and use.

I personally still use the Bourne Shell, used to teach Shell Programming classes, and have been known to write shell scripts to do everything from automagic website creation to UNIX system crash dump analysis.   How cool to find a place to share some of those creations!

Comments:

I'm a fan of bourne as well.

I read something great once and I can't seem to find it. It went something like if you can do it in java, do it in C, if you can do it in C do it in perl.....all the way down to it in bourne.

BigAdmin is a great resource!
