The Kitchen Sink Weblog: Tales from Sun's internet facing edge

Eduardo gives the thumbs up as he gets ready to become Duke. Note that he is dressed in a shorts and T-shirt as it gets really hot in the Duke costume. We have laid out the Duke costume for him and it is ready for action!

The first step is for Eduardo to don the battery pack, which keeps Duke inflated. Next he puts on the Duke costume.

Duke's "shoes" needs to be attached to the rest of the costume. We all agreed that Linda did the best job with this. Once Eduardo is inside and the costume is zipped up and the feet attached, the fan can start inflating the costume, it takes a moment to complete this.

Duke is ready to go to the photo shoot! First, he has to turn sideways to get through the door. Duke then heads down the hallway, greeting and hugging everyone on the way, towards the elevator that will take him to the first floor. He will have to turn sideways for the elevator too.
