Kind of scary. Are we on the path to living in 10x12 cubicles like the ones shown
in the beginning of the movie "The Fifth Element"?

I can't truly comment, but having seen the place we will call "home" for the next six months, I strongly imagine that at the end of that period my wife and I will both be very anxious to return to a more "normal" home. Still, it is a fine option.
Turns out that having the movers pick up and store almost all of our household furnishings until they deliver them back to the new house was considerably cheaper than doing a double pack and move, not to mention a whole lot easier. The big tricky issue is to make absolutely certain that we get everything to the suite that we'll need for the next six months. Once the movers have it packed and stored it is, for all intents and purposes, inaccessible until the move to the new house happens.
