wifi in South Texas
In Corpus Christi rush hour is when you have to change lanes to maintain your speed. Corpus Christi is a small city on the South Texas coast. There isn't much to do here, the main attractions are the beach, the fishing and slower pace of life. A realtor once told me that Corpus was an "entry level town" meaning the ambituous soon leave for the bright lights of Houston and Dallas or if they are technically minded, Austin. People are friendly and still wave to you as they pass your car going the other way on a rural road. Imagine my surprise that Corpus Christi is in the midst of a project to make wifi available to all 147 square miles of the city. No $9.99 TMobile charge at Starbucks or the airport. What's up with the Bay Area?
