I ran 10km last weekend with Globalsat GH-625 in Japan's most popular spa area called Hakone(箱根) and exported the data to html with this nice piece of software.

SportTracks
best GPS-enabled exercise logbook software in the world

Green placemark(flag or pin?) is the start of GPS log and red placemark is where I ended. My watch couldn't catch GPS for 10 minutes after I started thus the difference in green and red placemark. I don't know why my watch couldn't catch GPS for such a long time. Maybe, it's because trees or rain.

My "fastest pace" was only 3:24 min/km at downhill which is way slower than olympic marathon runners. And I'm sure I couldn't sustain the speed for more than 5 seconds :)
