The first space shuttle was launched 24 years ago today. I remember that one of the big concerns was that the solid rocket boosters had never been tested in flight. Watching the space shuttle launch for the very first time was thrilling. But, you might ask, why do I remember this so well? It is because my oldest daughter was born 24 years ago today. It was a VERY memorable day and one of the happiest of my life. Comments:
