I promised an iPod Mini to a lucky person, but several people sent
in great
stories about training... so I scraped together a couple of other
goodies, too.
I am sending the 4 GB iPod Mini to Paul
Greidanus. Paul obviously has a lot of energy and enthusiasm for
education and tells
such
a heroic story about updating the entire training lab from Solaris
9 to Solaris 10 and back again... in two days including time for the
Solaris 10 class!
I'm sending a 256 MB flash drive pen to Kishore Dandu. Kirshore tells
a charmed
story about how lucky it is to start SCJP training... even if you
don't quite finish!
I'm also sending a 256 MB flash drive pen to Eddie Booher, Jr. Eddie
tells an inspiring story about how much he loves learning... well
at least learning about operating systems and computers -- never mind
those liberal arts!
Honorable mention to Hershel Remer
because by all accounts like he is a very funny
rabbi / comedian / Solaris-certified SA and I am told he has written a very
funny book worth a mention here. It has an entire chapter
devoted to Solaris jokes. (No, I'm not making this up!)
Thanks to everyone else who sent in their stories too ... great reading!
