Amid all the commotion of the
redesign last week, we also sneaked out a neat little search
enhancement: term highlighting in the destination pages.
Though we've had term highlighting since around 1996 on docs.sun.com
(Google since about 1998), this is the first time we've made it
available across sites.
Just do a search on sun.com. Next to
the result link listing of your choice, click the
"new window" icon (the little double boxes -- see screenshot) for a new
window complete with term highlighting. There are little arrows
on either side of the term to take you to the next, or previous
instance (handy for long pages like technical documentation, etc).
