- Chicken encounter: I once interviewed Colonel Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken. We talked about oil temperatures, automated fryers, and corporate blandizing of food. He was a charming gentleman.
- I traveled extensively through Indonesia while in college.
- My wife Jan was once Bill O'Reilly's boss. (You know, the guy from the O'Reilly Factor on Fox). Needless to say, at home we don't give her any guff.
- I love the Holiday Inn Express in any city. (Unlike Linda, I am not a hotel snob.)
- Unlike Liz, I love to cook. Especially Brussels Sprouts.
