Rating Sun Products on the Web
It's fun working for
a CEO who likes to preannounce our web features... for one thing, it gets
people on the web team and product groups jumping and gets new features
quickly across the finish line ("Holy
cow, Jonathan already announced our new web feature in his blog and
it's not due to launch until Tuesday!" is a typical quote I
hear in our web groups.)So anyway, as Jonathan mentioned in his blog last week, we've begun adding a product ratings feature to sun.com. You can see it at work on the StarOffice pages, for instance. If you go to the main product page, you can click on "Read Reviews" and see what people are saying:
If you love (or don't love) a product, you can submit your own rating and review and it will appear within the next day after our friends at powerreviews.com scan for spam and appropriateness.
