Good to hear from you, and thank you very much for the link to David Brooks' Op-Ed piece in The New York Times.
It is good to see Brooks reviewing Porter's article in BusinessWeek and getting hold of Porter for a phone interview.
Brooks' summary is quite good, particularly when it comes to Porter's suggestion for investment in Universities, R&D, training people--i.e., investment in people's skills.
Surprisingly, the review misses another point that Porter has made in his article, near the end of it: his call for greater investment in improving logistics within the U.S. economy.
