[ Networks ] Same Desktop Everywhere -- From the San Francisco Bay Area to Bangalore

I'm working on the same desktop I used last week in the Bay Area, now on a "SunRay 170" here in Sun's Bangalore drop-in center. (Later models of Sun Ray client are also available—a great tool for all global corporations.)

Now, I should wonder why I lugged my laptop across the globe?

Hope the journey was not too bad. How do you like B'lore?

Good to hear from you ... Thanks. Bangalore has changed quite a bit since 3 years ago ... The city seems calmer and more sure with itself ... The initial dust of disequilibrium outsourcing frenzy has settled ... professionalism has advanced and grown ... In this season (mid November), the weather is wonderful and the city contains a beautiful blend of trees ... The downside: It is still filled with various very noisy vehicles on the roads, and the sidewalks can get more attention towards their repair and upkeep.
