Mark Knopfler at Red Rocks just ROCKED!

What a night!  The air was clean from a recent storm, a rainbow graced the sky, a gentle breeze was blowing, taking away the heat of the day.  8 of us ventured down to the stunningly beautiful open air Red Rocks amphitheater to spend the night singing, dancing and swaying to the sounds of Mark Knopfler, the now solo artist who was big with Dire Straits way back when.....

But not before a very adult and grown up tailgate picnic.  After carpooling in some giant SUV with multiple rows of seats out came the coolers full of tasty beverages, amazing cheeses, designer sandwiches, salads, fruit and of course dessert.  The show started late for a school night, 8 pm!  Needless to say it was a VERY LATE NIGHT but so well worth it.

Mark Knopfler and his groups put on such a beautiful show....only seeming to get better and better.  I've decided his CD's just do not do justice to this man's talent.  So go and see this man, go now!
