« Tri Babes Pre-Race... | Main | Update on C in ICU »

Prayers Please.....

I just received word that a good friend was in a very serious cycling accident at lunch time today.  I've known C for over 10 years now and he was out with a small group from work riding hard.  He hit a curve to fast and ended up a mess.  He's in ICU right now with more broken bones than anyone would want...however, it appears there is no head or internal injuries.

C is is a really good man...very kind, generous...a wonderful family man and great engineer.

Please take a moment and pray for his recovery.... he needs our help.....

Anish and Melanie....thank you...I will pass this on to C....he will appreciate your prayers. I just got home from visiting him in ICU and told him many people were praying for his recovery...he was glad to hear that...

Thanks...I'll keep you updated... Barb

absolutely, count me in on the prayer chain - how SCARY. ICU is a scary place, but weirdly comforting knowing he's got round-the-clock care and probably the best of it...thinking of him, keep us updated!

holy moly - were they coming down something steep like lookout? can't imagine how that would be so bad without a bike on car encounter. good thoughts coming from me!
