This Bike is Going to Bejing!

Last week I had a custom bike fitting at Colorado MultiSport.  I spent a couple of hours at their studio while the meticulously worked on making sure my bike was optimized for me.  Lots and lots of tweaks, a shorter stem and aero bars have really changed my riding experience.  I also got new pedals and tri shoes.

But, enough about my bike and me.  At the risk of sounding like a triathlon groupie I have to mention Olympian Matt Reed's bike which was in the studio for some final touches.  Apparently I picked the right shop for my fitting if these guys take care of our Olympic athletes.  Matt was already in Bejing for opening ceremonies and his wife will be traveling with this important tool for a successful triathlon.

Here is Matt's bike:

And here is mine....all decked out with the new aero bars.  You might note that Matt and I both ride Fuji's! (I'm pretty sure his is just a tiny bit higher end than mine...)

Hey that's pretty neat... I stopped by a shop in Boulder last year a little while before Kona. Chris McCormack was picking up his bike from the guys at the shop.......then he won kona the next week. Living in/around boulder is so entertaining.

How cool! I'll say hi to the bike if I see it here.

BTW I totally thought this post would be about you bringing your bike to the Olympics. :)
