This month the SDN Channel spotlights the 2007 JavaOne Conference in San Francisco, where thousands of developers marveled at the latest Java innovations.
Without a doubt, the open sourcing of Java is one of the most exciting developments in the history of the platform. The OpenJDK Project offers source code, tools, and a thriving community for Java developers.
This week on SDNtv, Sun’s Rich Sands recaps recent OpenJDK-related initiatives, each of which will grow and strengthen the open source Java community. According to Sands, the entire JDK source code is now available--more than 6.5 million lines of code!
