Deep Dives JXTA for MIDP

Host: Ed Ort
Guest: Mohamed Abdelaziz

Episode Overview

JXTA for MIDP

Be sure to watch SDNtv this week and take a deep dive into JXTA technology with lead architect, Mohamed Abdelaziz, and our host, Ed Ort. Learn about this cool technology that enables you to create apps that allow devices to talk to other devices in a virtual network - peer-to-peer. Sounds cool to me...and think of all the different applications for this.

Wait until you see the demo! Mohamed demonstrates the ability to picture share between your desktop, phone, and printer and does a really nice job of explaining step-by-step how the technology works. So if I have this right, with JXTA the network is now virtual - no wires, no server. That's my kind of network.
