Open Source Hut
This video is courtesy of Jay Mahadeokar, Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College, Nagpur, and was shot during his first month as a Sun Campus Ambassador. The video highlights the "Open Source Hut" through which Jay and his fellow students were able to inform students about the the benefits of open source software and SAI (Sun Academic Initiative). The slogan for the event was - "Open Source @ Indian Flavor" where open source was literally taken out in the open!
More Sun Campus Ambassadors joined Jay in connecting students to open source software through Software Freedom day. This is were the free and open source software (FOSS) industry celebrates the virtues of free and open source software in the annual Software Freedom Day (SFD). To date Sun's Student Ambassadors organized over 200 events.
