News About SunSolve and Sun's Online Support Center
The SunSolve wiki shows plans to return to SunSolve's roots as a service for contracted customers (see Changes coming in FY10).

The Zones 'Update on Attach' Feature and Patching in the Solaris 10 OS
Enda O'Connor's latest article on patching describes the functionality of the 'update on attach' command (the -u argument to the zoneadm attach command). This feature has been available since the Solaris 10 10/08 release. Sun Has Announced EOL of the Solaris 9 OS
Sun.com has information on the Solaris 9 Operating System End of Life transition. Life cycle events (Last Order Date, Last Ship Date, End of Retirement Phase 1, and End of Service Life) will occur at the intervals defined in the life cycle model.
With Solaris 9 Containers software, existing Solaris 9 applications can be moved to Containers on the Solaris 10 OS. Here are more resources:
