How about creating a redirector that
loads http://bugreport.sun.com/ but with the less obvious fields pre-filled to indicate the Java component, etc so the only fields editable are the lower ones with:
Type: Bug
Product: JRE
already selected and not editable?
I also get complaints when I tell people to report java bugs that the bugs report form is complex and writte in English.
Why isn't there a Spanish version? (even if users are then required to fill in data in English).
If you want I could provide you with a Spanish translation.
I think there should be a redirector that points to a simplified JRE6 bug report form (even if it's just a man-in-the-middle interceptor that then posts all the data required by http://bugreport.sun.com/bugreport/submit_intro.do)
I think that the link for "all fixes as of the latest build" needs to be updated to the b31 one;
http://www.java.net/download/jdk6/6u10/promoted/b31/changes/jdk6uN-b31.html ?
