NetBeans IDE 6.1 Released
You can now download NetBeans IDE 6.1.
In NetBeans IDE 6.1, we improved performance (40% faster start-up) and we extended scripting language support beyond Java technology by providing a rich set of features for C/C++, JavaScript and the Ruby language, including Ruby on Rails.
The NetBeans Installer now also includes an Early Access preview of NetBeans for PHP developers. Use the Plugins manager to get additional functionality such as a JavaScript debugger, support for ClearCase file versioning, AXIS web services, and the Hibernate framework.
NetBeans IDE 6.1 adds to the improvements made in version 6.0: the new smarter editor, next generation of the ground-breaking GUI builder (formerly known as Project Matisse), visual mobile designer, integrated profiler, Mercurial file versioning, and Java EE 5 support.
Six reasons to download and try NetBeans IDE 6.1 now:
- Advance JavaScript Editing Support
- Improved Performance (Up to 40% faster startup)
