Two Sun Software Engineer Openings on OpenSolaris Web Stack
Sun is hiring two entry-level software engineers, one in Burlington, MA, and another in Santa Clara, CA, for the OpenSolaris Web Stack Project. In addition to becoming involved in the development, enhancement, and integration aspects of the project, the incumbents will actively participate in the open-source communities concerned.

OpenSolaris on the Hardware Compatibility List
The HCL now includes OpenSolaris content. Our hardware compatibility list includes the systems and components that run OpenSolaris, and the drivers and devices that OpenSolaris supports.

OpenSolaris Call for Proposals
The OpenSolaris Undergraduate Student Research Grant Program is intended to
build working relationships between the OpenSolaris community and colleges, faculty, and students. The program is designed to recognize and award grants for outstanding student engineering or research projects related to OpenSolaris.
Grant proposals are due by Thursday, May 15, 2008.

Access Control and Auditing Features in the Solaris 10 OS
