Ruby, JRuby, and Rails Application Development (With Passion!): Free Online Course Starts July 15
Sun technology evangelist Sang Shin has announced the start of a new "Programming With Passion!" course in July. Specifics of the course are still in the works, but you can take a look at some of the hands-on labs now -- including several real-life Rails applications that you can build and run as NetBeans projects with minimum effort. JSR 235 Service Data Objects 2.1.1 EDR This JSR defines core infrastructure APIs for heterogeneous data access that supports common application design patterns and higher-level tools and frameworks.
JSR 303 Bean Validation 1.0 EDR This JSR will define a metadata model and API for JavaBean validation based on annotations, with overrides and extended metadata through the use of XML validation descriptors.
