RUN AFTER TECHNOLOGY FREEDOM

Nov.23,I held a tech-talk focus on NetBeans with the help of Luyao.This is the first tech-talk of Southwest Jiaotong University Open Source Technology Club.At the begin of the talk,I gave a introduction of Southwest Jiaotong University Open Source Technology Club,and provided the audience with information about how to jion in our club.The next,Luyao gave a wonderfu talk about the subject that NetBeans-the only IDE you need.The present: students were all attracted by the interesting demo given by Luyao.During the talk,we even accomplished a small application running on mobile by JavaME.

Although there were only a few more than 40 students,they were all immersed in the talk,and at the end of the talk,there were five people named Liangming,Zhoubo,Maotao,Ye linghua and Yang dianyu who would like to work for the club together with me in the future.

I was very appreciated with Luyao and the guys who attended and held up to the end,and I believe in that the Southwest Jiaotong University Open Source Technology Club would be stronger and stronger only because of their contribution.

Today,I hold the first salon of Southwest Jiaotong University Open Source Technology Club.In this salon, I gave the introduction of open source technology,sun's contribution to open source technology,sun's SAI program and sun's certification.I also talked about javaFX and sun spot,and gave some vedios and demoes to the audience.At the last,I introduced the wonderland project ,unix-center.net,OSUM and Southwest Jiaotong University Open Source Technology and discussed with guys.

Although it was heavy raining there were still ten people that attend my salon and they were attracted by the wonderful technologies such as sun spot.
