And so it begins
After two years of irregular internal blogging I finally decided to also start an external blog.
Some brief words about myself - I started at Sun 8 years ago within the Sun Professional Services organisation, acting as a swiss army knife covering various topics like high enterprise server, high enterprise storage and building and deploying architectures for highly available solutions for customers.
After various reorgs I started to spend 50% of my time developing Sun Cluster agents while the other 50% were still dedicated for customer engagements. And since starting this year I am now a full time developer and staff member within the availability engineering organisation, which is part of Solaris engineering. So I plan to blog some more articles about Solaris Cluster in the future.
But today I want to mention that I (finally) got a new bike, which is part of my "stay well plan" :-)
And here it is, a trekking bike from velotraum, which I choose because it is supposed to have quality components without too much bells and whistles:

Hope it serves me well for the next years to come...
