Anniversary Ride
Denae and I decided to use last years Christmas gift from her dad (before it expired) for our 12th anniversary. It was an evening helicopter ride down the Las Vegas Strip. It was my second time in a whirlybird and her first, probably not smart to book it for Friday the 13th. Helicopters are so much fun, especially when the pilot dips to nose down to go forward faster. Wish I would have brought my Nikon, although I don't think I could have held it anymore steady than I did my camera phone. Didn't think about it until we arrived and read that photography was allowed (but no flashes allowed). We got pretty lucky as a major storm was blowing in and ours was the last tour allowed to take off. And boy did it storm, so bad that all the soccer fields were deemed unplayable for todays games by the parks and rec department.
