I was starting to feel pretty bad that nobody tagged me on the now rather old 5 things meme.  Thanks to David, now I can finally reveal five things that you did not know about me.

1) I hate coffee, but love how it smells.

2) I never used a computer until my senior year in College (1992).  I had a thought in the shower one day that I better learn how to use WordPerfect since I'm going to be graduating soon. 

3) I got a D in MIS 101 my freshman year....because of #2

4) I got by first real job by telling a white lie.  After the epiphany in the shower, I retook MIS 101 and got an A.  At the same time I took a class called Computers in Hospitality, in which we took a field trip to the Mirage Resorts Data Center.  Except I didn't go, my girlfriend (now my wife) talked me into skipping it.  I did however get the Data Center Operations Managers business card from another student.  When I spoke to him I told him how great I thought the operation was and thanked him for the tour.  He said he remembered me from the tour and gave me a job.

5) I have a BS in Hotel Administration.
