I learned the hard way a few months back...only schucked and minced one habenero while trying to do my best imitation of Emeril...took three days to wear off. In searching for a cure, found out you gotta wear real rubber gloves, not the latex type, as the capsaicin molecules are smaller than the latex molecules and pass through the latex. I had also read that one of the "cures" is to soak your fingers in tomato sauce or something like that. Soap and warm water only make it penetrate deeper into your pores and under your fingernails. Nasty stuff!
