I can own a gun

I can choose not to own a gun

I live in a place where I don't need a gun (but might want one because of those weirdos next door)

I can be gay

I can be straight

I can be anything I want to be

I can be brave and not be considered stupid.  Or misinterpreted.

I can own and love a dog and take it out for walks

I can hate cats ( I do.  They just pee everywhere )

I can love cats.  Or at least kittens (they're sooo cute).  And big cats...like Tigers.  But not Lions.  Except maybe Simba.

I live in a place where a conservative and a liberal can be friends.  And even have some things in common

I can love Mexico and Mexicans (the hardest working, most family oriented people I've ever met), yet think our borders need to be secured

I can buy SPARC or AMD (Shameless plug).  But can choose to not buy Intel.

My wife can be liberal and I don't have to be...but we can find love

My daughters can speak their mind

My daughters and wife can wear shorts, bikinis, tank tops with out the fear of being raped

My daughters and wife can get an education (My wife has her Masters)

My daughters can be in the "Gifted and Talented" programs at school (They are BTW and they get that from my wife, not me...obviously)

My girls can play soccer

My girls can play boys in soccer and beat them soundly

You can tell me to Fuck off

I can tell you the same...biatch!

I can tell Murtha to blow me while thinking Foley is a Perv...yet not a pedophile.

I can think John Mark Karr is a pedophile even though he lied

I can think George W. Bush is intelligent, yet inarticulate (can you fly a fighter jet or did you graduate from both Havard and Yale?)

I can be a Dem, a Republican, an Independent, hell even Green.

I can think Ralph Nader used to pretty cool.  Used to be.

I can say Bill O'Reilly is a buffoon, Bill Maher is an asshat, yet think Glen Beck is pretty cool.  Even though he's a Mormon.  (Why can't more men send flowers?)

I can blog

I can work for a company that let's me say this (and more) and not get fired...well...we'll see.

And for what it's worth, for all those "it's a new morning in America", "I have happy feet", "I'm leaving the US if the GOP wins" type posts  I keep reading (which I'm still waiting for Alec and Babs), consider the following:
