Please give a warm welcome to our Virtual Desktop Engineering team member, Matthais Müller-Prove! Matthais is filling the role of our first ever usability architect for all things VDI, Sun Ray, SGD and the like. While he didn't have me at "hello", he sure got me with this line "...sooner or later both 'remote' and 'virtual' will become obsolete concepts for the end user."
I appreciate all available techinical accomplishments.
What I can't figure out is how to email you. I am trying to use your UT usb/printer queue scripts in our environment, but the queue keeps saying:
printer gcurtis-PTR waiting for auto-retry. not available.
Failed to open the printer port. (Permission denied)
The queue gets created, obviously, the data gets to the queue, but the user (me) cannot get anything to print.
Any help???
