Hey don't laugh, I'm the interop guy @ Sun.

So this is a major PITA.  VMWare's Solaris 10 "experimental" support should be called "rock solid" when compared to the Longhorn "experimental" support.

It blows.

It's frustrating.

Luckily some fine fellow figured it all out.  Read up on it here.  Thanks Leo.

Comments:

Can you access VMWare Shared Folders? I can go to the \\.host\Shared Folders, but double-click on it shows a username/password dialog, certainly that's not the way it should be.

Hi Weijun,
I'll check it out and leave you feedback. My thought is that is won't work.
But to be nice to VMWare, the Longhorn support was geared towards alpha. Most of the stuff does work which is quite nice.
I'd love to not have to hit CTRL+ALT to get out of my Solaris Window.
