Microsoft makes changes to benefit Vista Virutalization
Microsoft reversed it's previous decision preventing the less expensive versions of Vista from being licensed for virtualization.
You may now run Visa Home Basic and Vista Home Premium in a virtualized environment.
The other bit of good news concerning Vista virtualization comes with a reduction in pricing for thin/diskless clients. Software Assurance is $23/machine/year for regular PC's and is now $110/machine/year for thin clients access to VDI.
That is a 25% to 50% decrease from last year.
