Comments:

I have installed Virtualbox into Ubuntu 9.04 and and have installed Windows XP. I have software plus hardware which requires a firwire 1394 connection with very low latency. Unfortunately, Virtualbox does not support firewire so I am not able to use my hardware with anything other than a native Windows XP or Windows Vista installation. Until this issue is addressed, Virtualbox is of no use for my application!
