For creating of PUBLIC AMIs I select Glassfish bundles, they don't have absolutely latest version of Glassfish, but they are very easy to deploy and configure so they are ideal for Virtual Appliances as PoC (Proof-of-Concept) software.

Access to AMI images listed beelow is restricted to users of OpenSolaris on Amazon EC2 BETA users only.
AMI images bellow don't have rebuling tools, please download actual one from OpenSolaris on Amazon EC2 project.
!!! Don't forget to open relevant TCP port with ec2-authorize default -p port_num !!!

Fully configured sample of Liferay Enterprise Portal on Glassfish. Glassfish is integrated into SMF and automatically started.
Liferay test User: test@liferay.com Pass: test at http://{hostname}:8080/ or https://{hostname}:8181/
Glassfish Admin User: admin Pass: adminadmin at http://{hostname}:4848/
Basic ec2ify: ssh_indent_key + fist data disk is on boot formated with UFS and mounted /mnt

Just installed Glassfish Application Server 9.1 with MySQL bundle, for developers who will post configure AMI to their needs. I use Glassfish Application Server 9.1 because its standard Java EE download and its very well documented/supported.

With this AMI I want to demonstrate alternative scenario of updating Empty JEOS AMI from S3 storage instead of rebuilding it.
I will send control ZIP containig script with download Glassfish V3 TP2 packed instance from S3, hope ec2ify is OK for this now.
