VMware Fusion X11 Solairs 10 bug
There is a bug in VMware Fusion for Mac. After installing VMware tools, X11 breaks and won't let you launch any of the GUI admin tools. I like using GUIs as much as the next person, so here is a fix that seems to work.
Edit '/etc/X11/xorg.conf'
Uncomment all of the FontPath entries. Delete the #.
Restart X11 or simply reboot the VM. That should take care of it.
