In this techtalk firstly I introduce wireless sensor networks,then I introduce sun spot and other related products such as DX70 of Banner、C51RF-WSN of ZigBee and IRIS of Crossbow. And after that I broadcast two video which is about application of sun spot -- balloon and helicopter. In next section I show demos about Ectoplasmic Bouncing Ball,then I will load and run the demonstration program of Air Text. At last I will introduce learning center of unix-center to students for studying knowledge of sun spot.

Tired of listening to the monotonous lectures, another way to allow students to act as disseminators of knowledge, learning in their own knowledge to the wider dissemination of knowledge. The exchange of students between the more cordial Universal basic computer knowledge to enable students to the Java and solaris have a preliminary understanding to guide the students how to use the virtual machine, how to use unix platform under development, training students for IT-related keen interest in training students of Communication And on the ability to work through in exchange for certain that "Spread knowledge,obtain laughing-face"

Trainning participators about knowledge of sun company 、open-source software and application Based on Apache、MySQL、PHP in opensolaris" and "application of sun studio in opensolaris”

Participators should introduce knowledge of open-source software such as JAVA,OpenSolaris,Netbeans,Sun studio,acts to students in the activities of the students who passing the small square , and photo the laughing-face of this students
2008.12.1~2008.12.7 The latter period publicize
The form of publicity:1,to elect a good laughing-face attached to the publicity posters;2,Photos will be posted on the banners , publicity by roller skating association in school

Dear all,

I have lanched a opentech on Nov.2.In this talk I talk about a program which I had done based on Solaris using C .The name of this program is Schedul in Solaris,which is implemented in C and gtk+ and schedule software in Solaris. Used glade to design graphical interfaces, and C to store/read configuration files.

Summary：

I find most of students have problem about how to use opensolaris to develop program, so I think I should hold tech about this in future.  

     I have held opensolaris install fest in LanZhou Universtiy on Oct.12th,2008. I feel extremely happy and excited to share with you about the event . It is the second technical talk in my campus abassador's life. The event turned out to be much more successful than that I had expected. The attendees explicitly showed their interest in these technical talks and appreciation of bringing Sun's cutting-edge IT technolgies to our campus. Below are the details of this event.

Summary：

Aim at freshmen,I hold this tech in order to make sure freshmen know Unix-OS. In this talk, I introduce unix-center to my campus's students, at the same time I introduce unix history and opensolaris . Then I dome use putty for learning unix. At last , I demo how to install opensolaris on virtualbox. Many of students are interested in opensolaris , I plan to guidance students how to install opensolaris on Yuzhong Campus!
